Introduction

The project will be the first phase of the Philippine Wikipedias Expansion Project. The Congress will attempt to gather project administrators and the most active editors of the eight Wikipedia Projects in Philippines languages which are:

While open invitations will also be sent to Filipino editors of the English Wikipedia.

The Congress serve as an opportunity to plan and thresh out language policy disputes which is commonly hounding most Philippine languages. It will invite resource persons from the Komisyon sa Wikang Filipino, UP's Sentro ng Wikang Filipino and other institutions of languages to guide how the projects should formulate their policies especially in translating foreign terminologies.
