Initiative
[edit]WikiProject Hearing Health is dedicated to improving the accessibility and quality of information about hearing health across Wikimedia platforms. Through initiatives like content editing, media contributions, and collaboration, the project addresses knowledge gaps and promotes awareness about hearing care and conditions.
How to engage
[edit]The project focuses on editing and creating content using curated lists of Wikipedia articles and pre-selected Wikidata items, covering topics such as sound, hearing, audiology, acoustics, otology, the ear, computational audiology and the auditory system.
Participants are encouraged to contribute media elements, including images, videos, and audio files, by uploading them to Wikimedia Commons and integrating them into Wikipedia articles and Wikidata entries. Contributions in any language are highly encouraged to promote inclusivity and diversity.
