[edit]- WikiJMed update
- We are in the process of publishing one further pre-print from the backlog but no movement yet on the remainder. At Andrew Leung’s suggestion I have started simply allocating pre-prints to board members in the hope that they will respond and take them forward. Also, there is a backlog, which I have only discovered, of submissions. I receive no alerts related to these and have no idea to whom the responsibility belongs, but I have been given editing rights on the spreadsheet of submissions by Andrew and will start trying to process these gradually. However, I am not entirely sure that this is my role and if anyone else wishes to assume this I will not stand in their way. I would continue to keep an eye on pre-prints once they are up. I am now aware of:
- Author declaration sheet
- Uploaded pre-print files
- Lost password for author
- Create new account and link in user page

I am now aware of:
- WikiJSci update: accepting backlogged articles
- 2 published paper since 2024
- 3 more papers for consideration in the next month
- Concern by an editor - several bird species articles are similar (structure and content)
- Least publishable unit
- Grant application
- Partnership on PLoS (is the partnership still active)?
- Ellen to note things that need to improve on grant application
- Insurance cost - issue
- Will contact other chapters to find cheaper insurance with similar coverage
- Board Updates
- Keeping track of activeness in the board
- Send email notes
- Wikimania Poland (7-10 August)
- Andrew has a partial scholarship
- Starting to call for session presentations at Wikimania so we need to submit (beginning of april)
