I had the chance to participate in various through this conference:

I gave a lighting talk during the first day about how to use Wikipedia for teaching citizenship values and modern skills.
In the WikiEducation panel, I shared impact and lessons learned from piloting Wiki Education in Cote d’Ivoire last year
During GLAM and Libraries roundtable, I discussed about how we used #1Lib1Ref for leveraging GLAM partnerships in Côte d'Ivoire

Participant Connections

This being my third WikiIndaba, I saw familiar faces and met new ones. Therefore, I had the chance to meet in real life some Wikimedians that I had only talked to online such as Egbe Eugene, Woubzena Jiffar, Perside Rosalie, etc.

Outcome

Deeper understanding of challenges related to digitization
Better comprehension of characteristics and needs of GLAM stakeholders' thanks the GLAM and Libraries roundtable
Strengthened collaboration with wikimedia community of West Africa (Ghana, Mali) and beyond
