Abstract (maximum 500 words): WikiCity would strengthen community participation at a regional level. With each city having its own community, it would enable the members to organize workshops, Tutorials and Sessions. This would permit a multidisciplinary approach towards developing the existing community. The users can introduce the lesser known facts, places, cultures and lesser explored corners in their city. This would not only broaden outlook for the local community members but also for the other users around the world. Each Wikicity chapter would organize sessions and would enlist the events on an monthly basis to the Central Community. Based upon the activities and participation each chapter would be ranked on state and Country Level. This would encourage Community development. The knowledge and facts introduced to the community would help improve the knowledge base about that city hence aiding the tourist and explorers about the hidden corners and entertaining spots around the city.
