Description : VideoCutTool is a video editing tool that aims to edit videos on Wikimedia Commons, users can also upload new videos to the tool, edit and upload the same to Commons on the fly! The tool is currently deployed on Wikimedia's Cloud VPS and in live! Cropping, Trimming, Audio Disabling, and Rotating are the current features of the tool. VideoCutTool works similarly to the Commons:CropTool. In this session we are going to discuss the steps to install VideoCutTool as a gadget and edit videos on the fly in 3 simple steps. Intended outcomes : Introduce participants learn about the VideoCutTool and enable them to edit videos on Wikimedia Commons on the fly (without using any external software). Encourage participants to install/enable VideoCutTool as a gadget on Wikimedia Commons. Identify the areas of the improvements/feature requests by collecting user feedback. Encourage participants to contribute to the VideoCutTool either technical/documentation.
