Participants will share and contribute artefacts (stories, songs, pictures, materials quotes, books etc.) that represent gender activism for them personally.

Gender Sensitivity Workshop

  • Descriptionː In this workshop, participants will review the gender gap in the Wikimedia movement. Then we will learn some baseline concepts around gender and will move to a group activity on “how we work with each other in the Wikimedia movement” to discuss challenges and opportunities for more welcoming and inclusive ways to work with each other in the Wikimedia movement. This last subsection will include practical tips for inclusive events. Finally, we will have space for questions, comments.

Community Story, Collaborations and Partnerships Workshop

  • Descriptionː Unconference sessions are intimate, informal, and impromptu sessions that occur on an as-requested basis. How it works: at the camp, we will have a board where any (capacity building track) attendee can propose a session topic they have knowledge about and believe would be valuable to others. If the session receives interest from 3 or more participants, the proposer gets allotted a space and time to host the session!

Demystifying the Board

Campaign Organizing collective session

Includes the participation of 3 people showcasing a Campaign they have been involved with in a Pecha-Kucha style (3 minutes each) -- names to be added after open call on day 1 -- followed by a 20-minute discussion to wrap up.

Looking inwards: Re-searching answers through questions rising from the community

  • Descriptionː This session is designed to understand how to carry out solid, social scientific research about the community from within the community. It will look at data collection, analysis and retribution methods. The question of evaluating the outcomes of a project will also be discussed.

(This engagement plan will also be published and others who are not at the Camp can also express their interest in collaborating on these initiatives.)
