SRG archives
ISO week problem again: It's now 2024 and your bot archives 31 December 2023 as 2023-w53, and 1 January 2024 as 2024-w00 (It's not true, this should be 2023-w52 and 2024-w01 respectively) JrandWP (talk) 02:06, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Oops, thanks for the notice. Working on it. Taavi (talk!) 10:59, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- FYI: For now, I created a redirect from Steward requests/Global/2024-w01 (which is linked from SRG itself) to Steward requests/Global/2024-w1 (where the archive actually is). Would be great to get both places (SRG and the bot) to a single naming pattern (no preference on which one though). Martin Urbanec (talk) 21:19, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- @Martin Urbanec: Special:Diff/26015514 should point the header to the scheme the bot is using once marked for translation. Taavi (talk!) 21:27, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! Marked for translation. Martin Urbanec (talk) 21:30, 1 January 2024 (UTC)
- The archive pattern should be 2024-w01 to 2024-w09 for the first 9 weeks of the year (until 3 March 2024, then). JrandWP (talk) 11:55, 3 January 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks! Marked for translation. Martin Urbanec (talk) 21:30, 1 January 2024 (UTC)

Help for OAuth consumer
Hi Taavi! I need some help from an OAuth admin and it looks like you have this role. Can you please help me? :) Don-vip (talk) 22:35, 24 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hello @Don-vip. Existing consumers can't be updated, you need to propose a new one with a higher version. I would file a task about not being able to self-disable a consumer. Taavi (talk!) 10:57, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi @Taavi, can it be deleted then? I'd really like to recreate it with a lower version. Don-vip (talk) 12:12, 25 January 2024 (UTC)
Wikis.world invite
Greetings! I'd like to request an invite to wikis.world for the Wikitubia project on Fandom. As of now it is hosted on the mastodon.social server where we plan to migrate from, so you can have a look at what we'll be posting. ~ ՏԹՄՐ (✉ • ✎) 15:25, 31 January 2024 (UTC)

Error in SRG archives
Hi, looks like SRG archives used to use a leading zero if the week number was a single digit like Steward requests/Global/2023-w01 but was later changed to not have it. This seems to break {{Steward request archive header}} on things like Steward requests/Global/2024-w1. --Nintendofan885T&Cs apply 22:00, 27 May 2024 (UTC)
Picture or exifs deletion
Hello,
I found you in a list of Wikimedia administrators. I work on the French Wikipedia (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utilisateur:JulNico) and in particular I created the page for the videographer Le Grand JD (https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Grand_JD). There's a photo of him on Wikimedia Commons (https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Le_Grand_JD.jpg), posted by the lady who works with him, but I see that they've made a request to remove the image because of sensitive GPS coordinates in the exifs, in late May. But it still hasn't been removed. Would it be possible to remove the coordinates or else delete it entirely, for his sake and safety?
Thank you very much!
Best regards from Switzerland, JulNico (talk) 08:50, 22 June 2024 (UTC)
MajavahBot not clerking account reports at SRG
Hello there! I do not know whether you have already been informed about it but there has been an issue with MajavahBot in the past two weeks in the way that it is not marking reports for locked accounts as done and they need to be manually clerked. This issue only occurs for account reports, and the IP reports are still being automatically marked.
Would you be willing look into it if and when you have the time? EPIC (talk) 16:40, 25 August 2024 (UTC)
- @EPIC Thanks, I was not yet aware. It'll probably take until this weekend before I can have a look. Taavi (talk!) 08:41, 26 August 2024 (UTC)
- Error has returned again since some days, if you would be willing to troubleshoot? EPIC (talk) 22:53, 20 September 2024 (UTC)
- I think this is fixed now, I accidentally broke lock handling when adding support for global blocks for user accounts :( Taavi (talk!) 17:39, 23 September 2024 (UTC)
