- @Nemo: Thanks for the kind words of welcome, really appreciate it :-) Just a small clarification: I'm working with the Foundation as a part-time contractor, not an employee; the difference might seem small, but it's actually quite crucial. But thank you again! I look forward to this new challenge. TKozlowski (WMF) (talk) 17:15, 14 July 2016 (UTC)

'Dzień Dobry' Sound File
[edit]Hi,
The sound file you have put up on Wiki for the pronunciation of 'Dzień Dobry' sounds abbreviated on my browser (Safari V10.1.2 on an iMac). It sounds like 'Dzień Dob...'ie with the second syllable of the second word missing.
Regards, Martin.
- Hi Martin, thanks for your message. I have just tested this file on three alternative browsers (Chrome 60.0.3112.113, Firefox 55.0.3 and Safari 10.1.2) and I can confirm this problem occurs only on Safari, so it looks like an issue with the browser or its execution of TimedMediaHandler's code. In any case, that audio file is over 10 years old now—and with quite some background noise—so I might actually re-record it if you think that's a good idea? I certainly have better recording equipment than I had 10 years ago :-) odder (talk) 10:14, 21 September 2017 (UTC)
