hello
what are the pages you are creating meant for ? Are they linked with a specific project ? Anthere 19:02, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
- I am making an argument for a concept I propose for Wikiversity to do both teacher/student instruction, and for funding Wikiversity research in a distributed de-centralized way. The best way to express the concept is by example, so I have constructed a number of example pages with fictitious professors, deans, and students, to demonstrate how the system would work. - okay. But... are you aware that the board rejected the idea of on-line teaching proper ? ant
- Yes I am, that is a shame. Perhaps they would have decided otherwise if they had heard my proposal. It circumvents many of the thorny problems of manpower and accreditation, and it presents a new model for merging Wiki with the free market of professors and students. How can I get them to reconsider? Slehar 14:14, 20 December 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for your suggestions about e-learning in a wiki format. I think the current priority is for everyone who is interested in Wikiversity to respond to the Board's request for revisions to the Wikiversity proposal. --JWSurf 20:44, 12 December 2005 (UTC)
Modified Wikiversity project proposal
[edit]There is now a page for construction of a modified project proposal for Wikiversity. --JWSurf 16:01, 14 December 2005 (UTC)
Hi! I hope you are still around. An article that you created, Sample_Research, is up for deletion. It was suggested at Meta:Requests_for_deletion#Sample_Research that the page be transwikied to Wikiversity. Would you be interested in partaking in that? --Swift 09:41, 31 July 2006 (UTC)
- Furthermore, you uploaded a number of images for use with that article. What is their license status? — Edward Z. Yang(Talk) 22:43, 26 August 2006 (UTC)
