Woodhouse suggests that "edit" could be translated ἐκδιδόναι. However, I have only ever seen this word when it means "marry". Does anyone know of ancient Greek (preferably C5/4th BCE Attic) works where it is used to mean "edit"? LeighvsOptimvsMaximvs (talk) 16:37, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- "διδοναι" means "to give" and "ἐκ -" means "out -", but I don't know if ἐκδιδόναι means "edit". SPQRobin 18:00, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
