Hello!
The Community Development team at the Wikimedia Foundation is supporting the creation of a global, community-driven Leadership Development Task Force. The purpose of the task force is to advise leadership development work.
The team is looking for feedback about the responsibilities of the Leadership Development Task Force. This Meta page shares the proposal for a Leadership Development Task Force and how you can help. Feedback on the proposal will be collected from 7 to 25 February 2022.
Thank you,
The Community Development team Cassie Casares (talk) 22:07, 7 February 2022 (UTC)
WikiLibray Convention
[edit]Hello Rebecca, I only registred now for the WikiLibrary Convention in July. I really hope I will be able to attend it. Covid numbers raising at fast speed in Germany. When I scrolled the attendees I realized that many apparently come from the Wikiside and to a lesser extend from libraries themselves. When I worte in the registration how I could contribute I mentioned the project "GND meets Wikibase" (on old video presentation from 2020 [1]) and the WikiLibray Manifesto that was initiated 2019 by the DNB and WMDE [2] but surely I could also be part of a group that debates how libraries could improve their cooperations with Wikimedians. Before I went to work for the German National Library I used to work as GLAM coordinator to WMDE for six years. Much of their ongoing GLAM programm including projects with libraries were kicked off by the me and the volunteers. But I am also quite happy to simply listen and get a feeling of what is on elsewhere in the WikiLibrary world. My best regards and thanks to the orga team Fischerdata (talk) 15:08, 6 July 2022 (UTC)
