This was quite an abrupt and disrespectful approach in my opinion. You should not be saying that communities that do not remove themselves from a list means that you will impose changes and requirements on them. Changes to communities is based on consensus, not enforcement by someone from outside of the community. — billinghurst sDrewth 10:05, 20 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

There is no imposition nor enforcement, just some help to the majority of communities who's not versed in requesting wiki configuration changes, as we already did when helping hundreds wikis update their logos which had been forgotten for years (even when they had already drawn them). --Nemo 10:54, 20 June 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please remove dewikinews from the list of Wikis without copyright templates. n:Vorlage:Information Vorlage:Bild-LogoSH is the No-commons-Copyright template used in DE:WN. (As per local rules logos are the only kind of files with local upload so far. There might be additional groups of files, e.g. freedom of panorama files which can not be uploaded to commons because the FoP does not exist in the country of origin, which of course can be used in DE/AT/CH/LI, but so far there was no need for such files, though that might change, considering latest experiences on Commons, e.g. FoP images for the Burj Khalifa, which mostly have been deleted from commons but could have been kept locally. n:de:MediaWiki:Licenses exists. There is nothing to worry about. Dewikinews is not mentioned above. As long as you have licenses defined in n:de:MediaWiki:Licenses you will still be able to upload. If you could not upload, then maybe you were accidentally logged out? Any (auto)confirmed user or administrator is able to upload on the German Wikinews. SPQRobin (talk) 00:25, 1 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
