Copyright problem with File:Guardian March 29, 2011 - Wikipedia wants more contributions from academics.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Guardian March 29, 2011 - Wikipedia wants more contributions from academics.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at this page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Jafeluv 09:44, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
- Fixed. The upload dialogue did not allow to specify a license. -- Daniel Mietchen 11:03, 29 March 2011 (UTC)
RFD notice
[edit]Hello. This is to inform you that one or more files uploaded you are currently being discussed at Meta:Requests for deletion#Fair use images. Regards, Jafeluv 08:02, 13 April 2011 (UTC)
- Alas that we do not allow fair use images here. Thanks for spreading the word about that article, however, which is a great one. –SJ talk | translate 22:12, 18 April 2011 (UTC)

Global rename request
[edit]Hi Daniel. I was looking at your rename request again, and it seems like you have quite a number of different cross-wiki edits!! I've re-opened the section on SRUC and listed every project on which you have more than one edit. You can use that page to coordinate your global rename, and strike out names once the request has been fulfilled on the local project. If there are projects on which you don't want to bother renaming, feel free to skip them; the list is there for convenience purposes more than anything. I hope that helps. Please feel free to contact me for any assistance. Many thanks, PeterSymonds (talk) 22:42, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for your help. I actually hadn't imagined it having to be done project by project. That's a bit of a hassle then, albeit softened by your service. I will thus postpone a systematic approach to these requests for a few days, as I am in the middle of writing. I am thus going back to editing under the old account, where I do not have to bother with CAPTCHAs and such for every edit. -- Daniel Mietchen 22:58, 11 January 2012 (UTC)
Request for renaming
[edit]Hello Daniel Mietchen. I just restored the section on the username changes request page, because we don't know what this list represents if it's not at least linked to your username somewhere. Cordially, -- Quentinv57 (talk) 17:06, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
- That was an accidental deletion - sorry and thanks for restoring it. --Daniel Mietchen 17:32, 17 January 2012 (UTC)
