Blacklist removal request

Blacklist removal request I request removal of the names Giovanni Prinzi and Giuseppe Prinzi from the blacklist here, there is no reason that these names are blocked, please remove them, the inclusion of these names was certainly an error.

This is the blacklist, please, remove Giovanni Prinzi and Giuseppe Prinzi --> https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Title_blacklist --Alice pasquini80 (talk) 18:35, 1 December 2017 (UTC)

They asked at my user page, and I have directed them to the correct place.  — billinghurst sDrewth 12:22, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
So I do. Please direct your requests to Talk:Spam blacklist or Talk:Title blacklist where they belong. This is to have a track of requests made and because this way all admins can act on them and not just the people that might be watching this page or myself. Best regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 14:00, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

Subpages of Devoxx4kids

Hi MarcAurelio, I know. Sorry for that, we supposed to create more valid subpages but the training switched more in an experiment. We acted with young people (13-15 years old) who started to experiment Visual Editor and have create a lot of no sense content. All subpages can be cancelled. Thank you. --Ilario (talk) 16:12, 2 December 2017 (UTC)

uikipedi'as:Community Portal/Messages.php

Hola MarcoAurelio.

He borrado la página. Un saludo. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 10:05, 11 December 2017 (UTC)

My IP block exemption rights don't work

Hi! Thanks for giving me the IP block exemption rights here. But after editing a few articles, I started seeing this message again:

"The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be a web host provider. To prevent abuse, web hosts may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. You will not be able to edit Wikipedia using a web host provider. Since the web host acts like a proxy, because it hides your IP address, it has been blocked. To prevent abuse, these IPs may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. If you do not have any other way to edit Wikipedia, you will need to request an IP block exemption."

It says I should request an IP block exemption, which I already did as you know. I would be really happy if you fix the problem ongoing. Thanks.--Emir Özen (talk) 18:44, 12 December 2017 (UTC)

There's no longer a problem, thanks.--Emir Özen (talk) 16:51, 14 December 2017 (UTC)
Sorry Emir Özen I've been traveling. When that happens it is usually resolved assigning too a local IP block exemption on the project where you get the message. Regards, —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:45, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
Not problem, thanks for explaining. Hope you're having a good time while travelling!--Emir Özen (talk) 17:32, 15 December 2017 (UTC)

Invitation to Blocking tools consultation

Hello,

The Wikimedia Foundation's Anti-Harassment Tools team is inviting all Wikimedians to discuss new blocking tools and improvements to existing blocking tools in December 2017 for development work in early 2018.

We are specifically contacting you for your ideas because you are one of the top users of the blocking tool on Meta. We think that your comments will help us make better improvements. You can post to the discussion in the language that you are most comfortable expressing your ideas.

Other ways that you can help
  1. Spread the word that the consultation is happening; this is an important discussion for making decisions about improving the blocking tools.
  2. Help with translation.
  3. If you know of current or previous discussions about blocking tools that happened on your wiki, share the links.
  4. Help summarize the discussion to share back to your wiki.

If you have questions you can contact me on wiki or send an email to the Anti-Harassment Tools team.

  • I apologize for posting in English.
  • Please let us know if you wish to opt-out of all massmessage mailings from the Anti-harassment tools team.

Just FYI...

I saw you locked Laysta54 - thanks for that. I'm trying to get that spammer patterns documented at c:User:-revi/ProstitutionKoreanSpam. That patterns have been around even before I edited Korean Wikipedia, and they're slowly turning 'xwiki'. Thanks anyway — regards, Revi 11:17, 19 December 2017 (UTC)

Hi. Thanks for the info. Let me know if I can assist you with anything else. Regards. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:24, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
You can add Asdasdasd48456 (talk • contribs • block • xwiki-contribs • xwiki-date (alt) • CA • gblock • ST • lwcheckuser) to the list. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 11:26, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
Thanks, that guy is interesting, frwiki. Such wow. The term itself is bit generic that titleblacklisting that will cause big side-effect. BTW, I like Google emoji, it's cute. — regards, Revi 11:40, 19 December 2017 (UTC)
