"Hide" / "Help us with translations!"

[edit]

Hey Katimawan2005, thanks for translating the notices for the Licensing update notices into Kapampangan (pam)! However, we don't have a translation for "Hide" and "Help us with translations!" (other languages already had it, yours did not :-(). Would you mind translating it here? Thanks! Cbrown1023 talk 20:24, 22 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi Cbrown, it's done. I had long wanted to see these two phrases in Kapampangan, but didn't know how this could be done. Now, this is finally possible. Thanks for this opportunity. Glad to be of help. Katimawan2005 03:21, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thank you so much for your help translating, I published it. :-) Cbrown1023 talk 13:37, 23 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Steward election questions

[edit]

Hi, please do not duplicate the page. If you want to ask a question, you can do so at Stewards/elections 2010/Questions. Thanks, --Church of emacs talk 12:35, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Sorry. I was wondering why the link was empty in the Kapampangan version, and thought that was the solution. I suppose it should be reversed. I'll do it myself, unless you've already done it. Katimawan2005 12:39, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hi, apparently there was an error in the template system which caused a false link to appear. The error should be fixed now. Sorry for my accusing tone, I wasn't aware of that error. Regards, --Church of emacs talk 13:37, 18 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you

Hi Katimawan2005, thank you for translating the Jimmy appeal. I have another request, however, it is just two lines :) We need to translate the Social Media buttons to monitor twitter, etc. Please contact me with any questions.Klyman 21:39, 15 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Editor Appeals Need Translations

[edit]

I want to thank you for your help translating during this year's fundraiser. The fundraiser has greatly benefited from all your contributions. Currently, the appeals from Wikipedia editors Kartika, Liliaroja, Abbas and Joan Gomà need to be translated and localized. Also some core messages need to be updated for certain languages. You can find all translation requests at the translation hub on meta and you can follow the progress of the fundraiser in real time by tracking the fundraiser statistics. Also for those of you who haven't already, you can subscribe to the translators-l mailing list for all new requests and major changes. Many thanks for your help in truly making this a global fundraiser that you can edit. schapman

Translator, We need you!

[edit]

Dear Katimawan2005,

You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.

Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.

If you would be interested please take a look at this little sign-up survey and fill it out http://survey.wikimedia.org/index.php?sid=13638&newtest=Y&lang=en. With that we can start building a list of people and filling any gaps in the languages we serve.

Many Thanks

A barnstar for you!

This barnstar is given to you for your help with the 2011 fundraiser translation.
This barnstar is given to you for your help with the 2011 fundraiser translation.

Hi! I just want to thank you and give you this barnstar for your help with the translation of the 2011 fundraiser! The fundraiser was the best we ever had, both in terms of the amount we collected and in terms of number of translations. We couldn't have done either one without the help we got from you and other translators. If you are interested, we made a report, which has some statistics about the translations.

And: I have one more request, and that is that you take this survey. You may have got an e-mail about it, and if you did, please ignore this. But if you didn't it would be great if you would take this survey too, so we can learn to improve the translation experience.

Again, thanks for your help with translations – you're awesome! Jon Harald Søby (WMF) 13:31, 24 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
