Hello, Jim Doen. Welcome to the Wikimedia Meta-Wiki! This website is for coordinating and discussing all Wikimedia projects. You may find it useful to read our policy page. If you are interested in doing translations, visit Meta:Babylon. You can also leave a note on Meta:Babel or Wikimedia Forum if you need help with something (please read the instructions at the top of the page before posting there). Also worthwhile acquainting yourself with the functions of global user pages. Happy editing!

Hello. Wikimedia is a project for discussion and coordination of all projects related to it. I can not perform an IP address unlocking, as I am not an administrator. Greetings! --Editor D.S (talk) 16:35, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Editor D.S: Wait Editor, Aaron Green helped me before but I am not sure if stewards or administrators are supposed to help with this IP unlock. I assume it is called an unlock because you said. Who to ask? --Jim Doen (talk) 20:28, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

When you add a "ping" to old comment, then you also need to add a new signature (see Template:Ping for instructions). Stryn (talk) 20:24, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
Well, from what I've seen, you've been able to get in touch with an administrator. Is not it? --Editor D.S (talk) 21:58, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Stryn: Like this? --Jim Doen (talk) 20:28, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Editor D.S: I got in touch with Stryn who is a steward and Just Chilling who is an administrator. They have both spoken in this matter. Stryn has said to wait for the UTRS system message. I think the office is closed now. --Jim Doen (talk) 22:24, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply

Information icon Hello, when you add content to talk pages, please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four w:tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when. Stryn (talk) 19:23, 28 May 2018 (UTC)Reply
