Mistake locking a WMF account?
[edit]Hi, I just saw you locked Awight with the reason "No longer works for wmf", but this doesn't seem to be a WMF account. Could you double check and see if Awight (WMF) is the one you intended to lock? Thank you. -★- PlyrStar93 →Message me. ← 01:54, 23 February 2019 (UTC)
Hi, Thank you for catching that! Iv'e unblocked Awight and blocked Awight(WMF) — The preceding unsigned comment was added by ERoss (WMF) (talk) 02:09, 23 February 2019 (UTC)

BWolff
[edit]Hi, Is BWolff (WMF) (talk · contribs · page moves · block user · block log) eligible for locking as no longer works for WMF? RhinosF1 (talk) 18:12, 3 September 2019 (UTC)
- Hi, Thanks for doing. Can you respond to the edit request on his talk? RhinosF1 (talk) 18:20, 3 September 2019 (UTC)

[edit]Hello Emerauld,
Stas does not longer works for WMF. Do you think it is possible to add the template FormerStaff to pages of Employees of the WMF who no longer work there. So the people see that they dont recieve a answer from this person. In Wikidata someone asked Stas in his role of an employee after he left WMF and so he did not recieved an answer and then somenone else told him that he does not longer work for WMF. That is something what is not good because not in every time somebody else reads it and has further informations. I think there are other Employes who dont work for WMF and dont have something like the mentioned template on their user page. -- Hogü-456 (talk) 18:20, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Hi Hogü-456 (talk), this is done. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by ERoss (WMF) (talk) 18:08, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- At his page in Wikidata I dont see that there is a information that he no longer works for WMF. Can you please add it there. Is it possible to get an overview about the number of local user pages of a user. For cases like that it were useful. To Make sure that all pages have the information needed. -- -Hogü-456 (talk) 17:47, 31 October 2019 (UTC)
MaxSem
[edit]Hi. Did you lock the correct account? MaxSem seems to the the users private account and MaxSem (WMF) the staff account. -- Tegel (Talk) 17:05, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
Hi -- Tegel (Talk) thanks for this, the hiring manager listed MaxSem as the account to cut access for. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by ERoss (WMF) (talk) 18:20, 25 November 2019 (UTC)
THargrove (WMF)
[edit]Hi. I saw that you locked Special:CentralAuth/THargrove (WMF) - can you also remove their WMF Support and Safety
rights? Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 17:39, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
- @DannyS712: Office IT people don't have enough on-wiki permissions to do that; but I removed Ty's permissions as soon as I saw the lock on IRC, and informed JSutherland (WMF) which was okay with the action. —MarcoAurelio (talk) 17:47, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Ruwiki ArbCom email
[edit]Hi! I'm from ruwiki ArbCom, for the convenience of mailing, we would like to create a mailbox arbcom-ru@wikimedia.org
connected to a google group.
Daniel Zahn on https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T262525 said we should address you or someone from https://office.wikimedia.org/wiki/ITS to help us with this.
If it is easier, then we are completely satisfied if emails to arbcom-ru@wikimedia.org would forward to an existing group ruwikipedia-arbcom@googlegroups.com (which is used by ruwiki ArbCom from 2006 for archival purposes: only acting arbitrators can send letters to it, but I added arbcom-ru@wikimedia.org as an address, from which it can receive emails), if not, then the method convenient for you will do.
