Hello,
I think you need to know that the "Terms of use/Paid contributions amendment" refers to requiring people who are paid to write Wiki articles to disclose the fact and has nothing to do with Wikimedia "in turn pay[ing] for contributions" as you wrote. I can understand your outrage at that possibility, but since that's not the case, you may find your comment on that page an embarrassment.

Hi! The amendment is a bit confusing in what it is trying to describe. Wikipedia donations are not being used for contributions. What the amendment is suggesting is that if McDonald's PR edits wikipedia, they need to state that they are employed by McDonald, so you know that there could potentially be biased information.
