[edit]ciao Atropine. Sono capitata sulla pagina Iberocoop:Concurso_de_traducción_y_creación_de_artículos_de_mujeres_2015 cui mi ero iscritta. Ma come sta funzionando il porgetto? ci sono liste di voci su cui lavorare? --Giaccai (talk) 16:06, 10 February 2015 (UTC)

Thank you for taking part in the Community Health learning campaign!
[edit]Hi Atropine,
I wanted to share back with you the drawing you contributed to the community health mural we hosted in Mexico City. Thanks for taking part! The campaign is going on until Sunday this weekend, and users are still very active answering some questions related to community health. We would love to see your views there, as well!
Happy editing! María (WMF) (talk) 20:00, 21 August 2015 (UTC)
Wikimania 2016
[edit]I can help with organizing the Wikidata events, if you need any help. I maled you, but it might sit in the spam-folder. --Tobias1984 (talk) 08:44, 9 October 2015 (UTC)
GLAM OBC a Wikimania 2016
Ciao, --Davide Denti (OBC) (talk) 11:44, 24 November 2015 (UTC)
What future IdeaLab campaigns would you like to see?
[edit]Hi there,
I’m Jethro, and I’m seeking your help in deciding topics for new IdeaLab campaigns that could be run starting next year. These campaigns aim to bring in proposals and solutions from communities that address a need or problem in Wikimedia projects. I'm interested in hearing your preferences and ideas for campaign topics!
Here’s how to participate:
- Learn more about this consultation
- Vote on and submit new campaign topics in the AllOurIdeas Survey
- Discuss campaign topics and ask questions on the IdeaLab talk page
Take care,
I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 03:33, 5 December 2015 (UTC)
Possibility of an IdeaLab Workshop for Wikimania 2016?
[edit]Hi Atropine. Mjohnson (WMF) and I are interested in submitting a proposal for Wikimania 2016 similar to this submission from Wikimania 2015, where we invite contributors from any Wikimedia project to help develop their project/proposal in IdeaLab, ask questions about grants so they can obtain funding for their projects, and share advice and experiences from past grant or project work. Having read over the guidelines for submissions, it appears to be that such a session might work well either as a training session or as a user digest. It seems as though the training sessions are already in the process of being selected or have already been chosen, but if there is availability for this kind of submission as a training session, please let me know. As for user digests, IdeaLab is open to ideas across research, gender gap, GLAM, Technical, Education, and project-specific ideas, so submitting it under those liasons may not be a good fit either. I wondered whether the WMF track would be the best placement for this kind of workshop. Let me know what your thoughts are, though I understand the reviewing committee has the final decision here. With thanks, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 02:56, 10 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, probably we won't be able to have this workshop as a user digest or as a training, but we can find other ways. As an example it could be organized as an activity inside the community village, or as a meetup. I'll talk with the rest of the committee and I'll let you know :) --Atropine (talk) 10:04, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- @Atropine: Hi Atropine, just checking in to see if you've had a chance to talk to the committee about the above. Thanks, I JethroBT (WMF) (talk) 06:36, 20 January 2016 (UTC)
Chapters Village at Wikimania 2016
[edit]Dear Atropine,
I'm from Wikimedia RU. Do you plan to make "Chapters Village" this year? We would be happy to make a small stand and present recent developments in Russia there. Thanks! Dr Bug (Vladimir V. Medeyko) 03:52, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- Hi, yes we are! A form will be provided for the affiliates willing to have a stand. When we will be ready we will share it on the mailing-lists. --Atropine (talk) 09:59, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
- Great, thanks! Dr Bug (Vladimir V. Medeyko) 15:48, 11 January 2016 (UTC)
Future IdeaLab Campaigns results
[edit]Last December, I invited you to help determine future ideaLab campaigns by submitting and voting on different possible topics. I'm happy to announce the results of your participation, and encourage you to review them and our next steps for implementing those campaigns this year. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to participate and submit ideas.
With great thanks,
I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 23:55, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
Open Call for Individual Engagement Grants
[edit]Greetings! The Individual Engagement Grants (IEG) program is accepting proposals until April 12th to fund new tools, research, outreach efforts, and other experiments that enhance the work of Wikimedia volunteers. Whether you need a small or large amount of funds (up to $30,000 USD), IEGs can support you and your team’s project development time in addition to project expenses such as materials, travel, and rental space.
- Submit a grant request or draft your proposal in IdeaLab
- Get help with your proposal in an upcoming Hangout session
- Learn from examples of completed Individual Engagement Grants
With thanks, I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources 15:56, 31 March 2016 (UTC)
WikiTIM and the media
[edit]Hi there! I noticed that your WikiTIM initiative gained a significant media coverage. How did you contact the media? Did you sent out a press release? Or was it TIM's press office? Asking for professional reasons :) Halibutt (talk) 14:20, 19 December 2016 (UTC)
The Affiliate-selected Board seats process welcomes your support
[edit]Hello. You are receiving this message because you kindly helped with affiliates-related translations in the past. The movement needs you again! The Nominations phase has started for the ongoing selection process of two Board members, and the timeline is quite tight.
A Translation Central is available to help keen translators like you figure out what's been covered and what's left to do. Over the course of the next few weeks, your attention on candidates' profiles is particularly welcome. While there are four languages that are especially relevant for multiple affiliates (namely Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish), you can also add others. If you can't help: please see if you know anyone in your circle who could, and spread the word :)
Thank you! Elitre (WMF) and Facilitators of ASBS 2019, 13:19, 18 April 2019 (UTC)
Collaborate with CivilServant?
[edit]Hi Atropine -
I got your name from Iberocoop (their meta page, actually), whom I met with last year at Wikimania, and thought you'd be a good person to reach out to. CivilServant's a research nonprofit that works with Wikipedians (for free) that are interested in testing ideas to make their Wikipedias flourish. We're currently working with five Wikipedias (Arabic, French, German, Persian & Polish) but are hoping to expand our partnerships with other Wikipedias in 2020. If you or others with it.wiki might be interested in testing innovations or tools (anything the Italian language Wikipedia community uses to try to improve the quality or breadth of content) to see if they are indeed effective, we'd love to talk to you.
Also, if you are planning to go to Wikimania, we are hosting a Research Summit on the 19th that you may be interested in attending (we could cover the accommodations costs for staying two extra nights in Stockholm). You can read more about the summit - and link to the application - on our Research Summit Meta page. (We're asking for applications by June 10.)
Of course, feel free to spread the word to others who might be interested in attending the summit or just talking to us.
Thanks! --Juliakamin(cs) (talk) 11:36, 3 June 2019 (UTC)
