Is it allowed in Wikipedia?
[edit]To keep in the pages of wiki Administrator's personnel thesis? at http://sd.wikipedia.org ? Other problem is We call Computer as same in English, but admin forcibly used his word Ganpukar of Computer. I have proof that thousands of published books called it Computer not Ganpukar. If some one oppose him he started abusive language. That is the reason sd.wikipedia.org never got attraction to Sindhi community. Plz check record there. Other things are he locked CSS due to that on the same site there are lot of font styles appeared there. He is not able to set commonCSS or Monocss. We are in trouble to work in our local Sindhi language. I don't know where to say for this problem. Record history says all the situation there. I appeal plz warn him to follow en.wikipedia.org rules, other wise he will continue use his personnel details and personnel promoted articles there. Dear I am sorry If u r not right person to say all about this, Plz suggest me where I can raise this issue. My sd.wikipedia.org ID is same. His thesis is not a violetion? http://sd.wikipedia.org/wiki/ماحولياتي_انتظام_ڪاڻ_اُپُگِرَهِي_عَڪس_ضماءُ_۽_درجه_بنديءَ_جي_طريقن_جو_اَڀياس Alixafar 00:15, 21 November 2011 (UTC)
- I don't know why you're asking me this. I'm not an administrator, and have been uninvolved with that issue as well. ASCIIn2Bme 09:55, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
Need help
[edit]{{helpme}}
I've started Requests for comment/Meta-wiki requests for comment on users. I think that the proposal should be translated in the languages of wikis having an Arbitration Committee, and that those wikis be notified of the proposal via Ambassadors because it directly affects them. I'm not sure how to proceed though. The translation template seems hopelessly complicated to begin with. ASCIIn2Bme 05:00, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- RfC can't possibly be translated. If a community guideline/policy proposal with some sort of established text will ever arise, we'll translate that and ask for comments. Nemo 10:44, 12 February 2012 (UTC)
Error
[edit]- Under Proposal, you said 2 but listed 3. Probably a typo but, perhaps, a correction would be in order.UnbelievableError 05:26, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
- Corrected. Thanks. ASCIIn2Bme 05:51, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Your WP:AN question about me
[edit]On WP:AM you asked: <<Can someone provide more information on the User:Malcolm Schosha situation? Did he do something similar? ASCIIn2Bme (talk) 03:32, 11 February 2012 (UTC)>>
If you ask, I will try to give you the information you want. If Jehochman had given me the ability to temporary participate in the discussion about me there, then I would have been able to answer you there. Malcolm Schosha 23:05, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Personal attack
[edit]I consider this a personal attack, as it doesn't contribute to the point of that (sub)discussion, and misrepresents Herby's words. I suggest you to revert this edit or at least to remove the diff and the quotation. Thanks, Nemo 11:30, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- I disagree that it is a personal attack or that I have misrepresented him as you claim, but in the interest of calming the spirits, I have reverted myself. The kind of commentary that Herby made there is called "w:poisoning the well" on enwiki. An editor who did that for long time around there (vaguely referring to groups of people who disagreed with him as psychopaths, autistics etc.) was recently banned by our ArbCom, by the way. I hope the administrators here have the guts to rein in their colleagues when they engage in that type of behavior, without the need of users to point out how inappropriate that kind of conduct is for an administrator. Thank you. ASCIIn2Bme 11:40, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you, this is appreciated. As I know Herby a bit better, I'd like to reassure you that he was just very disappointed with the general situation and what he called the "[general] idiocy", IMHO. He even remembered elsewhere that it needs two persons to make an argument, so this is not directed to a single "side" (if such things exist). The "idiocy" might include my blocks, for instance. Nemo 12:11, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- You must have confused that post of his with the other one, from which I have quoted his precise words "some idiots who have arrived recently" [1]. I have no intention of revisiting this matter, but I don't think he was alluding to you in that post. ASCIIn2Bme 15:42, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

Letting others express their opinion
[edit]Can you please let others express their opinion, and have their opinion. It becomes very combative to always come back at someone expressing an opinion to which they are legitimately entitled to have, whether you agree with it or not. Can I ask that you watch for a little longer, others may refute the argument or express an opinion that puts an argument in context. If required, in a day or so, you can present a lucid argument that refutes. At the moment it is bunfight, hard to read and really a place that any sane person would run from apart from the difficulty to read, the inability to have a say. Just my opinion, anyway. billinghurst sDrewth 15:32, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- Are you objecting to some post of mine in particular, or merely that I have a continued interest in this matter and that have I brought new information to light as a result of a dialogue with others? I agree there is a fine line between dialogue and badgering, but I think my posts insofar have been in the spirit of constructive dialogue. If you think I've crossed the line in some specific instance(s), I'd be glad to take a second look, as I have done above when Nemo raised an objection. ASCIIn2Bme 15:37, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- I am not directing anything, or objecting to anything, or trying to influence your opinion in anyway. I am not reflecting on any particular post, nor any of the content, nor your desire to have an interest, I can well understand that. I am simply asking you to consider letting others express their opinion, or to consider consolidating your opinion to less in number. billinghurst sDrewth 15:50, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- Very well, I'm going to consolidate my posts in that RfD as much as possible, unless they have been replied to individually. ASCIIn2Bme 15:52, 13 February 2012 (UTC)

here
[edit][2] Could you respond?--Mbz1 16:39, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
- No, thanks. I was advised above to minimize my participation there, and I'm going to heed that advice. However, I can reply to you here. The sanctioned editor was first given an interaction ban on enwiki, and he then proceeded to revisit/recount past enwiki disputes on simple.wikipedia. For that he was banned from enwiki, and I think simple.wikipedia admins indeffed him over there as well. ASCIIn2Bme 16:48, 13 February 2012 (UTC)
Rhetorical verse (not poetry)
[edit]See my reply on my talk, but since I did resort to a sonnet amidst recent events, you might take a look and see when and how I used it. See self-collapsed sonnet at bottom of the first subtopic here. Notice above that, there are a lot of words. And a bit of a logic loop between an arb and myself ... which I thought could better be clarified by ceasing an analytical exchange, and summarize first with a terse dialogue, and then expanded with a rhetorical sonnet (with a few diffs and links). Note that it is not poetry, but a specific way to convey information in a different form. -- Proofreader77 00:26, 15 February 2012 (UTC)
Not sure you'll be able to understand...
[edit]First of all I have done nothing off-wiki that I did not do on wiki, and I have done nothing wrong, but it is not why my block by arbcom and the ban that followed were imposed in the violation of the blocking policy. Forget that I was not allowed to say a word in my defense even, when arbcom blocked me, leave alone, when I was getting banned by you and others like you D=, but my block was punitive and according to this it should not have been punitive. Why it was punitive?
- I was under a self-requested block since July of 2011.
- I was offered to be unblocked somewhere in the fall of 2011,but I refused.
- I was not going back to English wikipedia anyway.
What this block was supposed to be preventing?
Now, I saw, you claimed on AN, you know an attorney or two who could sue me.D= Really? I am going to sue nobody, but I wish I was sued because I have done nothing wrong! I did not make any false accusations, but I was accused falsely over, and over, and over again.
Whatever ... This post is probably useless, unless you are to copy it to one of English Wikipedia drama boards.D= --Mbz1 (talk) 00:59, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
- And the ban was cruel and absolutely needless punishment. For anything in the word I would not have changed my place with anybody who voted to ban me. Shame on you.--Mbz1 (talk) 01:10, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
- I'm sorry I have to say this, but you seem to have the uncanny ability to troll yourself. Basically, you get so worked up from minor stuff and keep going and going to your net detriment. ASCIIn2Bme (talk) 06:45, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
