Wikimedia News tables
[edit]Someone at this IP keeps removing the 4,000,000 row from the Wikimedia News#Wiktionaries table. Why? All the other tables have the "next" milestone shown at the top. Are you lobbying to change this for all the tables? If so, post about it on the Talk page. Otherwise, please leave the Wiktionaries table the same as all the other tables. Thanks. - dcljr (talk) 00:27, 3 June 2012 (UTC)
- You said: "Please don't update to the next milestone of Wiktionnary. After until the English Wiktionnary reached 3 900 000 entries." Your edits to the tables seem arbitrary and contradicatory. Why show the 4,000,000 and 5,000,000 rows in the Wikipedia table, and the 80,000, 90,000 and 100,000 rows in the Wikinews table, but not show the 4,000,000 row in the Wiktionary table? That doesn't make any sense. Please discuss this at Talk:Wikimedia News#Showing coming milestones?, so others can give their opinions on the matter. (By the way, the phrase "non-article milestone" should not be used if you're posting an article-count milestone. Oh, and please sign your comments on talk pages by using four tildes [~~~~] at the end of your remarks.) - dcljr (talk) 10:57, 4 June 2012 (UTC)

- Why the hell won't you discuss your ideas on the discussion page? That's what should be done when another editor disagrees with you — especially when they request that you to do so. I've explained my position repeatedly; you haven't explained yours. The way you're going about this isn't getting you any closer to making your changes "stick". If you explain your point of view, you might actually convince someone that you're doing something right. If not, you're not going to convince anyone... - dcljr (talk) 01:53, 9 June 2012 (UTC)
