Hello there! My name is Syd or Sydney, though you're welcome to call me by my username if you like. I'm an Aotearoa-based, trans, and queer Wikimedian with Gnome-ish tendencies. My interests are in the punk scene, Open Access, D.I.Y Culture, and Wikidata.
I originally started editing on Wikipedia, but have since joined Wikidata and the majority of my editing is now on there. Wikipedia-wise I mostly focus on copyedits, and on both of the two I'm involved in WikiProjects New Zealand and LGBT+.
I have been editing on Wikipedia for 2 years, 8 months and 15 days, and Wikidata for 2 years, 8 months and 1 day. (-dates are auto-generated based on the dates of my first edits)
Information
[edit]I'm generally online and active pretty often, so if you need to message me (or I've make a mistake), feel free to reach out! -and I'll be sure to get back to you as soon as I can.
I can often have problems with social cues and am not very sociable, but I genuinely don't mean you any harm and hope that we can all get along:)
