User:Orschstaffer/Create room
Greetings from the desk of:
[edit]O=MC4, Schoolhouse Principal, a School Project:
Considerations of content for this page
[edit]Create rooms are found everywhere, this one is invisioned as a Wikimedia Create Room where the concepts of creativity will take Wiki Foundation Projects to beyond expectations[citation needed].
"The creative mind expands beyond the confines of line and page, even folded within itself, expressing yet other modes of creativity." ~Pappy[3]
Search for Create Room
[edit]Entering Create Room in the Wikimedia search box produced the first hit: Movement roles/Feedback/Sue Gardner, Research:Effects of Feedback on Participation in Wikipedia, Research:Teahouse/Pilot Report, Wikijunior †User:Danny, India Program/Outreach Programs/Handbook, Wikimedia Foundation Report, December 2011, This was just some of the hits on the first page.
- There is creativity going on everywhere.
- Vision the image to the right being a w:Featured Article.[4] of the day. Maybe a div box sized to fit snuggly and a text remark paragraph would work? Or perhaps a simple template embedding the current daily feature?
Creating a Create Room
[edit]The Classroom is a school assignment. The Create Room at the Schoolhouse[5] does not stay within traditional parameters.
Wikimedia movement
[edit]The Wikimedia movement set itself five key strategic priorities: 1) To stabilize infrastructure, 2) To increase participation, 3) To improve quality, 4) To increase reach (readership), and 5) To encourage innovation. Wikimedia’s relationships with schools, governments, galleries, libraries, museums, archives and other influential players in that geography and possibly other geographies;
Observe the above with the relative applications below.

This Create Room
[edit]Makes a meaningful experience, experiment, application to improve the projects through a creative interaction designed to welcome, guide, train, share, and all this through a creative medium, outlet, schoolhouse, classroom, et. al.; create room. The image to the right is a conceptual drawing of the engine room, on-board the w:SS Humbolt while the ship was still under construction. This illustration of creative concepts depicts similarly this create room while in its conceptual mode.
SS Humbolt
[edit]Wikipedia article w:Humboldt (steamer).
Steamboat
[edit]The article Steamboat Talk page comment left about categorization and classification of ships. Also investigation of several maritime topics and various other steam propulsion vessels were compared to size up the scope of this school assignment.
Maritime history
[edit]Maritime history#Age of Steam would be a good place to start any topic, subject, article dealing with steam propulsion on water. The categories for steamships and related vessels afford an excellent opportunity to improve this wikipedia. I believe a collaboration between WikiProject Ships and something similar to Maritime studies would benifit the articles. The Black Warrior exemplifies categorization by labeling this image (Steamboat 1852), when the file history states in the description Steamship built 1852
Sidewheeler Politkofsky
[edit]The Politkofsky (steam tug)[8] was a small Russian-built sidewheel w:gunboat which patrolled the w:Alaskan Panhandle in the 1860s.

Summary
[edit]As evidenced here briefly, classification, categorization need improvements to meet a universally accepted disambiguation of various maritime vessels or watercraft lexicon.
