This is my guide for the 2022 Steward Elections.

There is now some ambiguity as to whether I'm permitted to tell you to fuck off and do your own research on each candidate, though there's probably a little less ambiguity on whether I can suggest that you don't let a grumpy old bastard like me persuade you to vote for any one person.

But, well, you really do need to fuck off and do your own research on each candidate. I say this sincerely. You need to decide what you want to see in your stewards - do you want availability, do you want the capability to read and write in two or more languages, do you want English Wikipedia experience or avoidance, do you want something else entirely ?

I can comment on the candidates and find reasons for you to support each one, but I can also find reasons for you to oppose each one, and because of that, my arbitrary rules and decision making processes are of absolutely no use to anybody other than myself, with my own outlook on the whole Wikimedia project.

So, to cut all that bullshit out, you need to fuck off and make your own decision.
