Edit-a-thons lasted from 2 to 24 hours with an average of 5 hours (see Graph 1).[1]
Graph 1: Event length The pie chart shows that edit-a-thons varied in their number of event hours with the majority lasting between 3 to 5 hours. Nearly all events (91%) were less than 8 hours, only one lasted longer, it was 24 hours.
Participation
The average edit-a-thon has 16 participants.
Out of all edit-a-thons included in this report, the number of participants ranged from 2 to 74 with an average of 16 participants.[2]
