About me

Hi! I’m Luis, a biotechnology research scholar from Jujuy, Argentina. I’ve published review articles and book chapters, collaborating with researchers worldwide. I’m the founder of www.call4chapters.online, a platform that connects authors and editors for book chapter publications. My work has been recognized through international grants from governmental agencies in Austria, Germany, and Canada, for academic mobility. Moreover, I’ve mobilized resources from agencies in the UK and the Netherlands.

My work

My work focuses on biochemical and environmental engineering, and promoting open science. In the Wikimedia movement, I organize edit-a-thons and train youth editors to contribute to open knowledge initiatives around microbiology science. One of my key contributions is releasing biotech-lab photographs on Wikimedia Commons, making science more approachable and accessible. I also curate these images to ensure they’re easy to find and reuse in educational, research, and creative projects.
