About me

I am Vinitha from Wayanad, India. I completed my MS by Research at IIIT-Hyderabad, India. My research interests include Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision and Cognitive science. I also love listening to poetry and painting.

My work

As part of my academic research, I have worked on recognizing errors in the Indic OCR output and correcting them. Recently, I have started contributing to open source projects. I hope to contribute further to the open source community, kickstarting with the MediaWiki project on spambot detection. The project is related to creating a captcha which is friendlier to humans and harder for bots to crack, applying advances in machine learning.
