About me

Hi, my name is Friederike, I work in the politics & public sector team at Wikimedia Deutschland in Berlin.

My work

In close cooperation with the team at WMEU and the WMF I monitor international and national rule making that may influence Wikimedia Deutschlands objectives. I also support the understanding of the Wikiversum and Wikimedia projects towards political decision makers, the administrative level and the general public. Specifically I work on the UN Global Digital Compact, the national implementation of the Digital Services Act, Digital Commons and Free knowledge as instrument against Disinformation.
