Hello! I am Zoran Filipović. I was born on February 7, 1968 in Belgrade. I am a mechanical engineer by profession. I am the founder and owner of the registered Serbian software company Mali Penguin. I live and work in Belgrade.

Education

[edit]I graduated from the Branko Radičević Elementary School in New Belgrade on June 22 1982, after which I enrolled in the Mechanical Education Center 1. May, where on May 31 1987 I successfully graduated and obtained the title of precision mechanic. I graduated on December 25 1994 from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Hydropower, and earned the title of graduate mechanical engineer. The mentor of my thesis was professor Dr. Miroslav Benišek.
Oaths
[edit]On November 29, 1974, as a student in the first grade of elementary school, I took the pioneer oath. During the ceremony of receiving my diploma at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, I took the environmental oath.
Employment

[edit]During my engagement at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade, in the period from 1995 to 1997, I was employed as a professional associate. In that period, I independently did the computer processing and translation of the text of the book Hydraulic Turbines, authored by Professor Miroslav Benišek, Ph.D. As one of the collaborators, I worked on technical data processing, partial proofreading and proofreading of the text of the book Bibliographies MF 21-25. These books were printed by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade.
Work in education
[edit]Starting from 1998 until today, for many years I have been teaching mathematics, informatics, mechanical materials, technical drawing and technical education in various primary and secondary schools in Belgrade. During the school year 2001/2002. In 2010, a first-year student at the "Nada Dimić" School of Economics, whom I prepared for the competition as a mathematics teacher, won second place at the Republic Mathematics Competition. I have a successful private practice.
The Little Penguin Project
[edit]Starting from the middle of 2011, I created two independent databases for the Electronic Dictionary program. The first database is based on the printed edition of the book Lexicon of Foreign Words and Expressions, authored by Milan Vujaklija. The total pool of words displayed by these two databases is over 41,000 words and expressions. With Joomla! content management system (CMS) I created two websites, over which I am the administrator and webmaster. I have created 40 e-books that I have published on the Little Penguin website.[1] I also published electronic books published by Little Penguin on the Google Books service.[2]
Acting
[edit]On April 11, 2022. I participated as an extra in the filming of the series Walking with a Lion. On 14.04.2022. I participated as an extra in the filming of the Serbian film and series Vera. On June 10, 2022. I participated as an extra in the filming of the series Restless. On 25.01.2023. I took part in the filming of the TV show Unseen Marriage.[3] On 26.03.2023. I participated, as an extra with a task, in the filming of the Serbian film and series Nedelja. On April 17 and 18, 2023, I took part, as an extra, in the filming of the Serbian film and series Kafana na Balkan. During the seven shooting days, I played in fourteen scenes. I played roles: a man crossing the street, a policeman, a bum standing next to a barrel with a fire burning, a doctor, a groom, a salesman in a bookstore, a casino guest. I made four lines with a total of thirteen words. In this way, I earned 18,700 dinars.
Data archiving
[edit]As of August 1, 2022, I am archiving data in software that collects, processes and stores data for 83 museums in Serbia.
Hyatt Regency Belgrade
[edit]From 17.1.2023. I work at the Hyatt Regency Belgrade in the Food & Beverage sector. On September 27, 2023. In 2010, my colleague Rastko Popović (Assistant for Information Systems) opened an account for me on hiattconnect; also: I regularly complete employee satisfaction surveys. On 20.03.2024. I applied to Regency Club for the position of Concierge, and on April 24, 2024. I applied for the position of Guest Service in the Communication Center. On 14.10.2023. At 5:22 p.m. at the location of Hotel "Hyatt" in Belgrade, he set up a redirect himself and transferred all the content from it to the Hyatt Regency Belgrade page. On google maps, as a local guide, I wrote a review for the place Tea House at Hyatt Regency Belgrade.[4] In the period from 13.10.2023. year at 19:25 until 19.10.2023. at 9:26 am I added new content totaling 13,185 bytes to the Hyatt page.

[edit]On March 8, 2023, through my place of employment, I donated clothes in the form of one 80-liter plastic bag to those affected by two devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. From the middle of 2023, I will be distributing plastic bottle caps and empty cigarette packs through my place of employment. On August 21, 2023, through my place of employment, I donated clothes and books in the form of one 40-liter plastic bag to the Children's Shelter, Zmaj and Adult Shelter. [edit]On 28.3.2024. I was nominated as a candidate for worker of the month in March, and on that occasion I won 20% of the votes.[6]

[edit]Comprehensive TeX Archive Network
[edit]Since 2010, I have appeared on the Comprehensive TeX Archive Network as a contributor and author of eleven TeX customization packages..[7] Most of the packages are from the area of the Serbian language. The packages are available on CTAN, and can be downloaded via the MiKTeX and TeX Live distributions.
Translation, rating and reviews
[edit]Since 2011 I have been translating, rating websites and writing reviews. I completely independently translated the entire user interface LaTeX of the WinShell editor into Serbian.[8] I partially translated the LyX document processor for TeX / LaTeX into Serbian.[9] In this way, I made it easier for Serbian-speaking users to use these editors. Starting in November 2012, I rated and wrote reviews for the Bulgarian hosting company SiteGround, for which I sold one hosting package, on several specialized websites. Since February 2014, I have been using the Web of Trust (WOT) Google extension to rate and write reviews for the websites I visit. I rated 454 websites, wrote 69 reviews and earned a total of 3,295 points. As of April 2017, I am a silver member of the WOT community.[10] I rated 130 places on Google Maps, wrote 85 reviews, attached 37 photos, published 7 lists, have 5 changes and 1 added place; with 3059 points scored, I'm a level 6 local guide. I have confirmed information for 22 seats.[11] I've liked a significant number of books and over 900 movies on Google searches.
Goodreads, IMDb & Facebook
[edit]Since January 2014, I have rated 172 books and written 96 reviews for the books I have read on the specialized website Goodreads.[12] I am on the list: The most popular 100 reviewers in the last 12 months in Serbia.[13] As of December 2017, I've rated 1,071 movies and written 24 reviews for the movies I've seen on the IMDb website. I earned badges: Highlights 2020 Oscars, Lifetime Total 1,000+, Poll Taker 500x, IMDb Member 4 years, 11 months.[14] I translate Facebook. My contribution is 1224 votes, 177 translations, 838 published; until December 31, 2021, I won the following badges: Vote 1000, Translate 100, Oracle 100 and Encyclopedia 20. I am in 14th place on the all-time list of Facebook translators into the Serbian language.[15][16]
Profile on social networks
[edit]I have a profile on the social networks Facebook, Twitter, VKontakte and Instagram, where in the past ten years I have published over 200,000 posts, 10,000 photos and videos, and I have achieved over 500,000 likes. Since July 25, 2023, I have a blue badge verified account on the Twitter social network.
Participation in the Wikipedia project
[edit]I registered on Wikipedia on November 22, 2013 at 3:49 p.m., and since March 7, 2015 at 4:03 p.m., I have been creating and editing articles. My first Wikipedia activity was on the Hans Christian Andersen article, where I posted a new external link. You can see the complete list of created articles here.
Rights and groups
[edit]On April 20, 2017 at 10:53 p.m., Filip Maljković suggested that I become an Auto-Patrolled Wikipedia user. After the community vote, Ranko Nikolić changed my user rights on April 26, 2017 at 10:50 p.m. and I became a member of the WP:AUT group. On May 31, 2018, I filled out the application form and then became an associate member of wikimedia. Since mid-December 2018, I have been a member of the Wikipedia & Education User Group.[17] On December 8, 2019, I elected to become a regular member of Wikimedia.

Marathons, competitions and promotions
[edit]During November 2017, I participated in a competition to write articles about famous women, in terms of aesthetic arrangement of the articles. At the beginning of March 2018, I participated in the editorial marathon: Women - Leaders from the Shadows, launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden and Wikimedia Sweden as a global WikiGap event, with the aim of reducing the gap in articles about men and women. This event was also organized in Belgrade in cooperation with Wikimedia Serbia, when I created and edited the article International Women's Year. During November 2019, I participated in a competition to write articles about famous women, in terms of aesthetic arrangement of articles. At the end of April 2020, I took part in a competition on the topic: Biographies of famous women organized by Vikemedia Republika Srpska when I created four articles about the Serbian football team, namely: Marija Vuković, Dina Blagojević, Milica Mijatović and Andrijana Trišić. At the beginning of 2021, I participated in Wikipedia's global reference editing campaign, which aims to increase the relevance of content on Wikipedia, when I entered references on the 17th.[18] At the beginning of March 2021, I participated in the editing marathon launched by Wikimedia Serbia and the Embassy of Sweden through the global WikiGap campaign, which aims to reduce the gap regarding women's content on the Serbian language Wikipedia, when I published six articles on the topic of football about Serbian soccer players, namely: Adrijana Delić, Jasna Đorđević, Katarina Đorđević, Anđela Frajtović, Miljana Ivanović, Milica Stanković, Aleksandra Lazarević and Ana Lilić.[19] From September 12 to 19, 2021, I participated in the Wiki Loves Pride 2021 editorial marathon when I published the articles International Fetish Day, Zero Discrimination Day and Drag Show. During the second half of November 2021, I participated in the cultural heritage action on Wikidata. At the beginning of 2022, I participated in Wikipedia's global reference editing campaign, which aims to increase the relevance of content on Wikipedia, when I entered 169 new references.[20] During the first half of March 2022, I participated in an editorial marathon on the occasion of International Women's Day when I created five new articles, namely: International Nurses Day, National Student Nurses Day, International Day of Action for Women's Health, Million Women Rise and Bojana Mašković.[21] During the first half of April 2022, I participated in the action of writing articles on the topic of Internet culture when I created two new articles, namely: Rule 34 and Rule 63.[22] From September 10 to October 20, 2022, I participated in a contest on the theme of Golden Movies, during which I created 6 new templates, 15 new categories and supplemented 5 articles; my contribution is 48,025 bytes.[23] From October 1 to 23, 2022, I participated in the Nobel laureate article writing campaign when I created the article Thomas Lindhal and three new templates.[24] From October 17 to 31, 2022, I participated in the GLAMorous October campaign with the aim of increasing the base of cultural heritage on the Wikidata project.[25] From November 25 to December 20, 2022, I joined the SheSaid global campaign, which aims to improve the visibility of women through the creation or addition of citations, when I created four new articles on wikiquotes with a total of 62 citations.[26] From December 12 to December 18, 2022, I participated in the action to increase the base of cultural heritage on the Wikidata project.[27] From May 27 to June 2, 2024, I participated in the 2024 Human Rights and Environment Editorial Marathon when I created six new articles, namely: Blaming the Victim, Women's Rights are Human Rights, My Body, My Choice, Marriage the ban, the MeToo movement and Reproductive Rights.[28]
Conferences of Wikipedians
[edit]In mid-April 2018, I participated in the fourth local conference of Wikipedians — WikiLive 2018: Factory of Ideas and Positive Energy.[29] In mid-April 2019, I participated in the fifth local conference of Wikipedians — WikiLive 2019.[30] At the end of May 2022, I participated in the sixth local conference of Wikipedians.[31] On April 1 and 2, 2023, I participated in the seventh local conference of Wikipedians — WikiLive 2023.[32]
Participation in programs
[edit]I participate in the WikiGap and Cultural Heritage programs on Wikidata.[33] I participated in eight programs as a student: 40.4K Words Added, 87.7K Item Views, 256 Items Edited.
Good and great articles
[edit]On March 10, 2024, the Joomla article was declared a good article by the votes of community members. On July 5, 2024, the MeToo movement article on which I invested a lot of knowledge, motivation, enthusiasm, will and effort was declared a great article by the votes of community members.
Contributions and rank
[edit]As of December 31, 2023, my global contributions are: 844 wiki searches found 107,723 edits in 19 wiki projects; I have 7,723 edits on wikidata and 108 related accounts. I made the biggest contribution to 5 projects, while I made 520 changes to 14 projects. Until December 31, 2023, my contributions to Wikipedia in the Serbian language are: in 14 namespaces, I made a total of 97,005 changes to 60,191 pages; I have 2,074 new pages created, of which 978 categories, 309 templates and 84 new articles; I have 16 submitted files, I have achieved 359 thank yous and I have received 141 thank you notes.[34][35] On the ranking list of over 13,000 Wikipedians who have made changes in the Serbian language Wikipedia in the last 20 years, I am in 11th place.[36]
Temporary end
[edit]On 24.10.2021. I decided to reduce my activity on Wikipedia in the Serbian language to the absolute minimum possible in terms of further editing, as well as to stop regular material donations aimed at the goal of ensuring the visibility of Wikipedia on the Internet and the readability of published articles, considering that any further activity of mine simply meaningless. From 17.07.2022. year, after a warning from the administrator Садко , I stop contributing. As of August 3, 2022, since the administrator of Acaalexaca blocked me for a day under the pretext of being a vandal, I will stop contributing and, until the conditions change, I will leave the project.
Complete ending
[edit]On February 26, 2024. since I reached the goal of 100,000 changes and since on 04/07/2024 achieved the goal of 100,000 live edits on Wikipedia in the Serbian language, I decided to redirect my activity and contribution to other Wikipedia projects to the greatest extent on wiki-data.

[edit]On August 12, 2024, I submitted a request to remove the bot rights from the FelixBot account. Administrator Ранко Николић dismissed the request as unfounded.

Participation in recycling projects
[edit]Since the middle of 2015, I have collected over 18.0 kg of plastic caps through the social club Klub: Paunovi!, the premises of Wikimedia Serbia and the place of employment Hyatt Regency Belgrade, as well as through the apartment building where I live, to the humanitarian organization Cep za handicap. I sell technical devices that no longer work to Set Recycling, and I dispose of smaller and smaller electrical and electronic devices in the container located in front of the City Municipality of Novi Belgrade. In this way, I distributed three televisions, two stoves, a water heater, a refrigerator, a heater, a hair dryer, electric cables and two mobile phone chargers. I deliver clothes that I no longer use to the H&M store, which operates within the Delta City shopping mall in Belgrade; I estimate that by the end of 2020, I have delivered over 60 kg of clothes to them. By participating in the H&M CONSCIOUS campaign, I help them close the ecological circle and participate in their project: For a more sustainable future of fashion! From the beginning of 2018, I dispose of used batteries in the Varta container in the Maxi store in Block 61. From December 2022, I dispose of the used batteries in the Varta container in the Maxi store in Blok 45.
Material donations
[edit]Since the middle of 2017, during occasional visits to the Delta City shopping mall in Belgrade, I have been making donations to the Humanitarian Foundation: Be Human — Aleksandar Šapić, leaving material funds in a plastic box at the Info desk. Starting from June 2018, I have been donating material resources to the Unicef Serbia organization with regular monthly payments. Until December 31, 2021, I donated a total of 5,650 dinars for these two projects.

Dance
[edit]From 25.01.2019 until the beginning of July 2019, I attended the elite dance school Cha Cha Moon, where my dance instructors were Luka and Jovana. Since the beginning of April 2021, at the elite dance school Cha Cha Moon, I have been regularly attending Latin dance seminars led by Arina Voloshina, the champion of Russia in Latin dances; my dance instructor is Nina Mosić, the national champion of Serbia in Latin dances for 2021 and the representative of Serbia at the world championship in Latin dances for 2021, held in Portugal, and my dance instructor is Luka Gemaljević.[43][44][45]

[edit]On 26.12.2021. in the organization of the Cha Cha Moon dance studio in the Hotel Metropol, I participated in the pro-am competition in the age category: B1, dance category: single dance ― bronze tango.

[edit]On 26.12.2021. In the organization of the dance studio Cha Cha Moon in the Hotel Metropol, I performed a showcase performance in the bronze swing dance category. On 19.02.2022. I successfully performed a showcase performance at the Cha Cha Moon dance school at the Welcome Party dance evening; I level 149 / 22 — 10.
Functional training
[edit]From the beginning of August 2019 until December 28, 2020. In 2016, I practiced with the instructor Andijana Trišić at the Kočović Sports Academy, where we mostly devoted ourselves to functional training.
Relations with the media
[edit]On February 7, 2023, I gave an interview to journalist Vanja Zelenović on the subject of Wikipedia in the Serbian language. The interview was published on February 13, 2023, on the website of the daily newspaper Blic.[46] In the second half of 2024, I appear in two copies of the Politika daily newspaper as well as on the Politika website, which published the news about the event that I supported by my presence.[47][48]
Gender identity
[edit]I was born on Wednesday at 02:30, so they named me Zoran. The goddess of dawn and beauty among the ancient Slavs is Zora, in Greek mythology it is the goddess of the morning blush of the sky and the dawn Eos, in Roman mythology the goddess of morning light, dawn - Aurora. Since my birth, I have strongly identified with women, so I give them selfless support in their efforts to make the living environment better for all of humanity. As of May 27, 2024, I publicly declare myself as a non-binary person.
