About me
Hi! I'm Cornelius, project and event manager with longtime Wikimedia experience as a staff (2011/2014-2020 at Wikimedia Deutschland, 2020-2022 at Wikimedia Foundation) and volunteer (editing since 2004), numerous personal contacts, and extensive knowledge of the organizational structure, history, and strategy process of the Wikimedia Movement. My work
I have a long track record of successfully organizing conferences and projects within the Movement working with diverse organizations, groups, individual from around the globe. To be exact, I've organized Wikimedia Conference 2015 + 2016 + 2017, Wikimedia Summit 2019 + 2020 + 2022. Beyond the Summits, I've been involved in organizing a variety of in-person Wikimedia events (Wikimania 2015-2019, diverse regional conferences) as well as the Movement's first series of online events (Movement Strategy Global Conversations)
