Uralic language contest 2019
2019 is UNESCO's International Year of Indigenous Languages (IYIL). Because of this, Wikimedia Norge and other partners are organizing this international article contest about indigenous Uralic languages and peoples. The goal of the contest is to increase content about indigenous Uralic languages and the people who speak them. It is primarily aimed at those same indigenous languages and the languages of the countries where they live, but everyone is welcome to join!
The contest will run through February of 2019, and is one of several events Wikimedia Norge are planning to hold in conjunction with the International Year of Indigenous languages.
