Abstract

[edit]

There are 20,000 active Wikimedians and 12 active MediaWiki developers. If you've ever been frustrated by MediaWiki's lack of important features, its persistent bugs or its slowness, you can help out by getting involved and contributing code. This talk will discuss how to join the team, and will give a brief technical introduction to the MediaWiki core codebase.
