Translation of press releases

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki
(English) This is an essay. It expresses the opinions and ideas of some Wikimedians but may not have wide support. This is not policy on Meta, but it may be a policy or guideline on other Wikimedia projects. Feel free to update this page as needed, or use the discussion page to propose major changes.

The translation of press releases in future will be more and more important and therefore it is important to have people on this list we can contact in caso fo press releases to be translated in quite a short time.

I'll try to add further info here asap. What I'd like to ask you with this page is insert your name here (in order to help me to contact you) or to send me an e-mail to s.cretella@wordsandmore.it in order to create a list of people I can contact whenever a press release is coming up.

Normally press releases are between 25-35 lines of text - this means 250-350 words to be translated.

Thank you for your attention.
