Template talk:T link
Add topicAppearance
This template provides a link to the Wikipedia or Wiktionary page with the specified name, or by default the name of the current page (without namespace prefix), as follows:
{{t link}}
gives Wikipedia: T link [1]"{{t link|}}"
gives " T link" [2]"{{t link|abc}}"
gives " Wikipedia: abc" [3]"{{t link|abc|}}"
gives " abc" [4]"{{t link|wikt}}"
gives " Wiktionary: T link" [5]"{{t link|wikt|}}"
gives " T link" [6]"{{t link|wikt=abc}}"
gives " Wikipedia: wikt=abc" [7]"{{t link|wikt=abc|}}"
gives " wikt=abc" [8]
Thus:
- a last unnamed parameter with as value the empty string means "no prefix in link label", regardless of whether it is {{{1}}} or {{{2}}}.
- "wikt" is used both as parameter name and as value of {{{1}}}.
