How it works

[edit]

There is an includeonly timestamp above. The texts below not transcluded.

{{subst:Last edit|Last edit of page Template talk:Last edit: 2020-04-17 T 18:17 UTC, by 176.122.109.86}}

Now showing the hidden parts in gray:

{{subst:Last edit|Last edit of page Template talk:Last edit: 2020-04-17 T 18:17 UTC, by 176.122.109.86}}

Does not work

[edit]
  • In the page Help:Substitution the template does not work well (it shows the theorical hidden parts). One can see an identical example result in the template talk page.
  • Can you help with the template {{now2}}?. It´s similar to last edit, but only including date and time. And without updating everytime, only when the template is included in the page (i.e. in the Reference section of a Wikipedia article to include when the link was retrieved)--Mac 14:30, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
It is fine. The preposition <span style="display:none"> was left out, in order to make the demonstration more readable. Hillgentleman 16:25, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
Recursive conversion means that the template is re-calculated at every edit. You can use something like "2024-12-24 04:12:47". Hillgentleman 16:37, 29 November 2007 (UTC)Reply
