Issues with this page on mobile

I incidentally got a chance to visit Connect/IdeaLab on a mobile browser (Firefox Nightly on an Android 5.1.1 device, 4.2"). I found that it wasn't looking so good in the small screen . I thought of improving the template that was used by Connect/Idealab hoping it would make it look on mobile by using the Template:Responsive two-column template. I was told by DAlangi (WMF) that it actually broke the initial UI/UX design. I'm sorry about that. It would be nice if changes were made to fix the bad formatting on smaller screens as a consequence of using this template.

Note to DAlangi (WMF):

• It would be nice if a <!-- comment --> was added in the Wiki source of this template that clarifies that this template is under development and to report any issues in the talk page rather than editing it directly. This might avoid people like me from interfering the development ;-)
• I suppose that the the first edit I made has nothing to do with breaking your UI/UX and it was just done with a motive of improving the readability of the source (I had a hard time finding the matching start and end tags, really). You might consider bringing it back.
