This template is currently producing garbage. For example on Help:CS1 errors, this:
- {{code|.citation-comment {display: inline !important;} /* show all Citation Style 1 error messages */||lang=css}}
produces:
- 46030920012009/15144503151313/05142032270409/191612012532/09141209140532/33091316151820/011420293247/321908152332/01121232670920/01200915143283/20251205324932/05181815183213/05191901070519/3247///

- Reading the template documentation it looks like it's not garbage, but the template with this name has a different purpose than the one on Wikipedia. Some pages have nonetheless been imported without regard for the difference. Hairy Dude (talk) 12:36, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
- Wikipedia's code template exists on meta, but is called {{code2}}. I've changed the documentation here to reflect that. Hairy Dude (talk) 12:47, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
Suggest moving {code2} to here
[edit]This template is apparently hardly being used, whereas Template:Code2 is used on many more pages (and would probably be used even more if it had this title). I suggest that the latter template be moved to this title, and this one either be moved to the other title or be given a title that better reflects what it actually does. - dcljr (talk) 15:12, 30 August 2022 (UTC)
