Number from character string: converts a substring of a given character string to a number string with 2 digits per character according to the coding scheme of Template:Nfchr. The first parameter is the number of characters on the left which should be discarded, and the second parameter is the length of the substring.

For handling as numbers, specify a substring length not larger than 7, or split the resulting string of digits into segments of length 14.

• "{{nfchrs|Wikipedia|0|9}}" gives "870911091605040901" [1]
