Please add Italian version
Per favor, the Italiano version is up and running at it:v:Pagina principale. Interwiki seems to be mapped OK, but it's not on the hub page. They are on #wikiversity-it right now. -- Quinobi 18:24, 22 May 2007 (UTC)

slogan de la wikiversité francophone
Suite à un vote de la communuté, le slogan de la wikiversité francophone est : " Communauté pédagogique libre ". Crochet.david 09:11, 17 October 2007 (UTC)

translation issue
"Free learning community" is certainly not the same as "Freie Forschungsgemeinschaft." That would be a "free research community." What is wikiversity really? Learning community sounds much more humble (and realistic).
For comparison, consider that DFG (= "Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft") is funding the majority of the research carried out in Germany. I don't think wikiversity can (nor should) lift itself on that level by using the word "Forschungsgemeinschaft" to refer to itself.

- Since today the German Wikiversity has a slogan. Over 6 months of discussion and votes resulted in following slogan: Lernen und Lehren (english: learning and teaching). More information available here ----Erkan Yilmaz (my talk page, wiki blog) 21:20, 22 October 2007 (UTC)
- Much, much better! I hope the new slogan replaces the old one on the frontpage soon. -- Same Coward — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 66.26.87.25 (talk) 03:32, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

We want Dutch
We, the people of Holland, Suriname, Flander and parts of Indonesia, want a dutch version of Wikiversity... :D No, seriously i think a dutch version would be a great succes, just like how wikipedia and wikibooks succeed. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by 86.92.142.196 (talk) 17:00, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

- Hi, did you see already: betawikiversity:Strona Główna, perhaps asking also at pl.WB might help if there is material on pl.WB ? ----Erkan Yilmaz (Wikiversity:Chat, wiki blog) 23:08, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
Polish version of Wikiversity should be open as fast as possible! After that it will be easier to add new articles/lessons.193.239.80.25 15:52, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Dlaczego jeszczze nie ma Polskiego Wikiversytetu??? Trzeba coś z tym zrobić. Mamy jedną z największych wikipedii. Na jej podstawie można łatwo zrobić polski Wikiversytet - i dodać odnośniki do artykułów po polsku. Do dzieła! 193.239.80.25 15:56, 21 March 2009 (UTC)
Romanian (RO)
We would also like a Romanian version of the Wikiversity.

- If you want to set up a new Wikiversity, you must have ten active participants who are willing to work on that language project. When you have this number you can request (at meta) for a new language domain to be set up. ----Erkan Yilmaz (Wikiversity:Chat, wiki blog) 15:17, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
