Add topicAdm mark
[edit]say if you are willed to become an admin - should it stay like that meaning that somebody else wants a person to become an admin, or
should it be put say if you are willing to become an admin - meaning that a person wants to become an admin?

- Oops you found another misunderstandable sentence. Of course ist should say willing, I will change it at once.--Der Reisende 17:59, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
Migration
[edit]With the migration, I hope it's understood that all current admins and bureaucrats on Wikitravel should have the same privileges set up. --Peter Talk 15:38, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sure. Who else? -- Hansm 18:54, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Do you mean a list? The quickest way to check would just be: Wikivoyage:special:listadmins, using the same command for each language version and Shared. --Peter Talk 19:33, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, I know. No, what I wanted to say was that you are experienced admins accepted by the community. It would be pointless to deny any of you admin or buraucrat privileges, respectively. I would not know who else was able to administrate a en: wiki if not you. -- Hansm 20:00, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, gotcha ;) --Peter Talk 20:25, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
The one exception, I suppose would be with :de and :it, since you already have active admins here, I believe. I am a bureaucrat on :it, for example, but that's mostly because we needed someone to do it. --Peter Talk 00:04, 18 August 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, so what's the timeline on this?
The Wikimedia RFC will close on the 23rd and while there might be some shuffling going on after that day, we're pretty close to getting the go. <scratches head> --Kim Bruning 07:06, 19 August 2012 (UTC)
Clean up
[edit]This page is kind of a mess. Can we archive the old discussions and try to streamline things? --Peter Talk 23:19, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I agree. Sumone10154 23:29, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- Me too. --W. Franke-mailtalk 22:03, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Peter was referring to the version containing old discussions from several years ago. I think we can keep the current discussions for a bit longer; if other language versions get more support, we can import them to Wikivoyage. –sumone10154(talk) 23:29, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Me too. --W. Franke-mailtalk 22:03, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
