(Initial Review) Notification of Affiliate Expiration - Renewal pending submission of reporting

This is a notification to bring to your attention that your organization is currently past due on its required annual reporting. Wikimedia Affiliates are required to submit an annual activity report covering the entirety of the 12-month agreement period in order to prompt review for a renewal. Reports must be written in English, posted to meta via the Wikimedia Affiliates Data Portal.
This page is used to track how organizations and groups are meeting reporting requirements described in their agreements with the Wikimedia Foundation (e.g. chapter agreements, thematic organization agreements, user group agreements). It is the central place where affiliates can add reports about their activities, share their plans, and even news or social media channels with the wider movement. When new reports are available, organizations and groups should add them to this page to keep their columns up to date.
As noted on the meta Reports page, your organization’s 2024 annual reporting became past due in 2024-11-11. Please be sure to:
- Post your 2024 annual reporting to the meta via the Wikimedia Affiliates Data Portal as soon as possible to return to compliance with your user group agreement.
- Check that your group’s page is also up to date with past report links for historical record-keeping, and
- Please send an email to Wikimedia-l in order to share with a movement-wide audience.

- User group news
- On Jan 25th 2025, we had our user groups monthly meeting held online at Google meet platfrom. 15 participants attended the meeting.
- User:Ranjithsiji shared the updates about the grant utilization for the Wikimedians of Kerala UG activities.
- Shared the updates about WCK 2024 tha was organised on 28th Dec. Shared update about the discussions happened in the UG's AGM and published report.
- Shared the updates about WCI 2025 that will be organised at Kochi in 2025. Shared the dicussion happened during UG's AGM meeting held on 28th Dec.
- The My Village 2024 Edit-a-thon has been organised in Malayalam Wikipedia. 114 articles was created.
- Shared update about Wiki Loves Birds India 2024 campaign. Preliminary judgement has been completed. and final judging process going on.
- User:Gnoeee shared updates about UG's initial discusssion about hosting Wikimania 2027 in India. Wikimania never happened in South Asia. So UG has taken initative to start the discussion and to submit the bid. The bid has been submitted on Wikimania portal on 27th Jan 2025.
- User:Akbarali shared update about Wiki Loves Ramadan campaign. Erfan and Muhammed Yaseen shared their interest in taking up the initiative. (Read more...)

- On 29th Mar 2025, we had our user group monthly meeting online via Google Meet. Jinoy shared the agenda of the meeting and welcomed everyone. Nineteen members attended the UG meeting.
- Jinoy shared updates about Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 in India campaign which received over 30k images.
- Jinoy shared updates about the workshop and photowalk focusing on Theyyam organized at Kannur as part of WLF campaign.
- Jinoy shared the updates about the holding of WikiConference India 2025 due to FCRA issues faced by CIS.
- Jinoy shared the updates about the sessions organised during Open Data Days 2025 at Digital University Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram.
- Ranjithsiji shared updates about documenting Mudiyettu, Thiruvathirakali, and visiting museums for potential collaborations.
- Ranjithsiji & Manoj shared updates about progress on the Wikivoyage Malayalam. Two workshops were held; more contributors are encouraged to participate. Planning to take out of Incubator in another 3 months.
- Suggestions made to translate and adapt article skeleton templates for Wikivoyage Malayalam.
- Akhilan reported documentation of 10 festivals, including 5 Padayani-related ones with 1.5k images.
- Manoj shared plans to organise Wikisource Community Meetup on April 19 and 20th.
- Ranjithsiji shared the plans of upcoming campaigns include Wiki Loves Earth India and Wiki Loves Onam 2025, gathering of Wiki Women in Kerala and finalizing UG strategy plans.
- Jinoy shared the updates of discussions happened with Grant admin regarding this behalf of the UG.
- Ranjithsiji shared plans to have training on small technical tools and increased technical capacity building was proposed.
- Jinoy shared the past activities done during the time of pandemic and discussed about kick starting it again.
- Adarsh shared the concerns raised over IP vandalism on Malayalam Wikimedia projects and discussed it.
- Jinoy shared updates about Wiki Loves Folklore 2025 in India campaign which received over 30k images.
