There are related German press releases being developed.
Some people are against the notion of having a press release with this title; please comment.
- I have no objection, as long as we mention something along the lines of "In spite of this success, the Wikimedia community is far from complacent. On the project mailing lists and the Wikimedia coordination wiki, discussion continues to create an advanced peer review process in order to add another layer of credibility to its volunteer-created content. The German Wikipedia in particular has been pioneering systematic quality improvements to articles in specific subject areas. 'We absolutely want to make sure that you can trust our articles, and we will never stop innovating in that department'[1], Wikimedia founder Jimmy Wales explains." [1] is a made up quote, of course.--Eloquence
- Sounds good above. However, "Study victors German Wikipedia over Brockhaus, Encarta" might be a bit less smug. -- user:Zanimum

In 2007, c't published the results of another comparative test between the German Wikipedia, Brockhaus, Encarta and Bertelsmann Enzyklopädie (Dorothee Wiegand: "Entdeckungsreise. Digitale Enzyklopädien erklären die Welt". c't 6/2007, March 5, 2007, p. 136-145). It did not find more errors in the assessed Wikipedia articles than in those of its commercial competitors.
