Translation to Persian
[edit](Feel free to respond after the break. Nothing urgent). Hi @CKoerner (WMF)! I hope you're doing well. People at Iranian Wikimedian UG really like these videos and want to use them as campaigns to increase understanding of Wikipedia and the movement among the general population. I even have some people already volunteer to translate and do voice overs. How can we do that? I admit I have no idea how these things work or with which software these are made. Thanks! - Hello Amir!
- If the UG wants to translate the video in a language not already available on Commons, the easiest option is to translate the subtitles. If they prefer to translate and record a new voiceover for these videos, they can do that by using a video editing software (like Shortcut or Kdenlive) to replace the existing voiceover with a new one.
- We're also working on creating a version of the videos without any voiceover - which will make it easier for folks to add their own translated voiceovers. I'll update you here when these are on Commons. Until then, please feel free to adapt the videos, and let us know if we can be of any further help. We'd also love to hear how they are using the videos. If you find out they do use the videos, please share a link or a description and we'll include it in our list. Adaptation for Indonesian context

The Education team in Wikimedia Indonesia are also interested in adapting these videos by translating and recording new voiceover for Indonesian context.
