CEE for Human Rights

[edit]

Wikimedia CEE Spring 2022 will be enriched with a new sub-contest, namely CEE for Human Rights, which is also part of the #WikiForHumanRights campaign, running from 15 April to 15 May 2022 with "Right to a healthy environment" as its main topic in focus. This means that participants in CEE Spring 2022 with contributions to topics related to human rights across the CEE region made in the period of this campaign could compete in the #WikiForHumanRights challenge. For that purpose, it's strongly recommended to include "Human rights" as a new theme in the list of articles. @Vyolltsa, W, Fraxinus, Croxyz, Seksen iki yüz kırk beş, MARKELLOS, Ritamaliqi, Paulina Studniczka (WMPL), Петковићева15, Kaganer, and Yasnodark:, could you please identify relevant topics related to human rights in your country or region and add them to the list of articles? Thanks.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 15:03, 19 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi @Kiril Simeonovski. We will participate and will include the Human Rights theme to the list of articles. Thank you! Vyolltsa (talk) 09:21, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Qolcomaq and Mickey Mystique: Could you add a couple of articles related to human rights in Azerbaijan and Serbia, respectively? Thanks.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 12:12, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Twitter

[edit]

CEE Spring Twitter is not alive. Are there plans to work with it? If not, the link looks needless --Anntinomy (talk) 22:23, 21 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yiddish

[edit]

Dear all. Had an idea that Yiddish could be part of (a future) CEE Spring since it is a language that originated in the region. We also have Esperanto here. Thoughts?--Jetam2 (talk) 19:36, 2 April 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Jetam2 I like your idea.--Fraxinus (talk) 05:45, 6 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Jetam2: That's an excellent idea.--Kiril Simeonovski (talk) 13:46, 7 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
All CEE languages should be able to participate in the event, so yes. -Vipz (talk) 01:33, 1 June 2022 (UTC)Reply
