Participation in the conference

Sometimes volunteers can also participate in the conference, or are the conferences organized only for the members of the management boards. As far as I know and have seen, almost the same names or the status of members of the management boards are repeated at all conferences. Hello. The Wikimedia CEE Meeting is primarily organized for regional affiliations, so you increasingly see affiliation delegates on the board who are selected by their affiliation. For regional communities that do not have an affiliation, we provide scholarships to individuals selected by the communities themselves (through consultations on the village pump). We also offer a limited number of scholarships to individuals who have submissions, and their submissions have been accepted into the program. There are currently no plans to change the format of providing scholarships. Volunteers who are not affiliated with any affiliation can apply to participate in Wikimania, where scholarships are explicitly provided for volunteers – Mehman (WMGE) 15:57, 28 July 2024 (UTC)
