- 06 accommodation,
- 07 social areas,
- 08 free access,
- 09 covered by wi-fi, and
- 10 provision of laptop rental and cost.
- 11 Availability of social areas,
- 12 open 24 hours a day,
- 13 proximity to venue and accommodation,
- 14 varied facilities available (food, drinks)?
- 15 Proximity to an international airport
- 16 Restaurants nearby?
- 17 Tourist sites for outings nearby?
- 18 Local laws, customs, attitudes, and culture: benefits or problems for attendees, and in keeping with the values of Wikimedia.

- 20 Visas/immigration: difficulty and cost, local help?
- 21 Rotation of location for 1-2 years, for cost/ease of worldwide attendance.

- Interesting proposal. But it may be better to let individual jurors exercise their wisdom and experience to decide for themselves. For if the factors can be given a set of generally agreed weights, we may as well plug them into a formula and fire the jury. Hillgentleman 20:57, 27 February 2008 (UTC)
