Bell v. Wilmott
[edit]@MBaghdasaryan (WMF): I am wondering if Bell v. Wilmott, which was recently decided, merits any review in this article. From JUSTIA: "The panel wrote that the Ninth Circuit has never recognized a de minimis defense based on the allegedly minimal use of concededly infringing material." I am concerned that this means that any photo that has a full copy of a copyrighted work in its background, no matter how minimal, has copying that goes beyond de minimis.
