Add topicMake a logo
[edit]Great. So can we request the creation of a logo here? I realized that there's Requests for logos but since there're a lot of new logos to be made, perhaps we can do it here. Cheers. ...Aurora... 12:22, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
Individual preferences?
[edit]Quote: However, given individual preferences, there is more support for the original slogan than these numbers show.
What do you mean with "individual preferences"? As the figures are A:15 B:43 C:2 D:4 E:3 F:1 G:9 H:3 I:1 O:19, I actually see B as the real winner. Or did I miss something? --- Best regards, Melancholie 19:47, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- There's either one or another mistake there... working on it. — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 20:06, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- FIXED, so the logos with the slogan need to be updated :( Sorry for that folk, entirely my fault (& thanks to Melancholie for catching it) — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 20:12, 15 January 2009 (UTC)
- I'll update the logos as soon as possible. File:Wikibooks_simple_book_slogan-OpenBooksOpenWorld_2.svg is the right logo, so we need only to make the new grayscale and b&W version. --Ramac 15:41, 16 January 2009 (UTC)
The file above has two problem that I had fixed in the "think free learn free" version, but not in this one. The problems are:
- "WIKI" text is not a path
- "WIKI" and "BOOKS" strings are not aligned
I have fixed these problem in the basic files, but pay attention while transating. --Ramac 13:15, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
Awful logo!
[edit]This is a terrible logo for Wikibooks. It doesn't look like a book, it looks like a series of unrelated documents. How does one go about lodging a formal objection to this monstrosity? Thanks. --220.253.188.35 08:07, 1 June 2009 (UTC)
New logo
[edit]How about change to this logo ? It resembles both three wikimedia's colour pattern and many different types of books. Please rework first. Thanks

- Don't waste your time - the logo is not being changed at this time. — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 22:05, 5 June 2009 (UTC)
