Dear WMPH colleagues: can you recommend a hotel for my stay? I don't have any special requirements, just a single room. Complimentary wifi would be a major advantage. A location close to some of our destinations, or good local transportation options, would be best, of course. Thanks! Ijon 00:18, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I can probably recommend a bunch of hotels, but we should know how much you can spend on accommodation first. :) --Sky Harbor (talk) 00:54, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
As little as possible, obviously, but as much as is necessary. Like I said, I don't need any facilities or features -- just a clean place with complimentary (or reasonably-priced) wifi. I will be booking my flights and hotels in the coming 24 hours, so if you can recommend something soon that would be ideal. Thanks! Ijon 19:34, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
How about the Eurotel North Edsa? It has free wifi, is very reasonably priced, and seems close to Quezon City, which I understand is the home base of WMPH? Ijon 19:38, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Our office is in Makati, actually, but a lot of us live in Quezon City and places up north (obviously excluding myself at the moment, but I do live there). There's the Eurotel Makati, which is probably more suitable as Makati is central to a lot of places, and it's a stone's throw from our (virtual) office. --Sky Harbor (talk) 10:27, 25 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

Thank you so much for the fantastic work you've been doing in setting up my visit -- already it is full of excellent opportunities! Can we please add exact addresses for each of these meetings, preferably with a contact person's name and number, as well as any WMPH members who would be accompanying me to each meeting, if any? If you prefer to keep some of this off Meta, let's stick in an online spreadsheet and share it? Thanks! Ijon 01:27, 18 November 2011 (UTC)Reply
